Coronavirus

Since the first reports of Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in January, JWU Study Abroad and Experiential Education & Career Services have been closely monitoring updates by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), U.S. Government Travel Advisories, international partners, as well as JWU's Health Services and Emergency Management departments. 

With the ongoing concerns around student safety, travel restrictions, and community responses to COVID-19, JWU has take the proactive steps to cancel:
  • All summer 2020 group and individual programs
  • All fall 2020 group and individual programs
  • All spring 2021 travel-based group and individual programs
JWU is unable to grant credits for any study abroad program at this time.  Our full portfolio of travel-based programs is suspended including the Study Abroad Petition Process for International Academic Programs Outside of JWU until travel-based programs are re-opened.
